Debbie vanBo is the new musical venture from British singer-songwriter and visual artist Jessica Illsley. After leaving London to find a more peaceful life in an ancient English forest she noticed a culture of toxic masculinity, predatory slime-balls, and Victorian dialogue around women and their place in society. Recognising a culture of silence amongst the women of her community she realised that these attitudes had been normalised.

She is a vigilante, a hell-raising snake charmer with a tongue like a laser beam and boots that could kick holes in the universe. Her mission is simple: good-old-fashioned anti-sexism: “Grab your pitchforks ladies; tonight we take him down”.
