Luka was born in Derby but raised in Bahrain, Australia and the UAE and grew up surrounded by divergent cultures and music. She has a burning passion for human rights and is culturally plugged in. At the age of 12 she began busking in Australia – this is where she learnt to sing, and her confidence began to build. She became a part of the circuit and a jobbing musician singing for the Australian Prime Minister, for fashion shows dressed as Twiggy, fundraisers and radio shows.

In 2014 Luka moved to the UAE and recorded her first song ‘Missing You’ which was picked up and played on rotation by DubaiEve radio. The following year she performed at the Emirates Palace, supported by an orchestra and choir. Luka went on to perform for Virgin Radio at 2016 Redfest DXB in Dubai and has since spent considerable time writing, recording, and honing her craft as a musician and performer.
