Written in her childhood bedroom during lockdown of 2020, the track blends modern dating idioms such as “red flags” and ghosting with production reminiscent of 90s pop-punk. Produced by Sam Johnston (Leif Erikson), the arrangement is loaded with hooky melodies and euphoric synths that encapsulate the rollercoaster of modern dating.
